What a wonderful time of year!!
Kids are returning to the classroom, excited about seeing friends and having a new experience in a school environment. Pep rallies happen, and CHS football players, band members, and cheerleaders walk the halls, yet 6th graders can't play on the school teams. They go from being top dogs at the elementary school to the newbies at the middle school. It's a scary time too.
Our goal as 6th grade teachers is to make the transition easier. We aim to create a community of learners that will support each other, no matter what the circumstances.
We have been incredibly successful in this adventure.
Be elite, folks; be elite!
