Welcome to 7th Grade Reading!

To say that I am excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year would be an understatement! This is my fifth year at Comfort ISD, and I absolutely love the kids of this community!

About Me
This will be my 14th year as a classroom teacher, having taught high school, middle school, and elementary. In 1999, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. I spent 5 years teaching at Centerville High School and Buffalo Junior High (and working rodeos in my spare time around Central Texas) before meeting my husband, who dragged me kicking and screaming to the Hill Country. . . I'm sure glad he did!

My husband and I lived in Kerrville for several years, where I taught at Ingram Elementary and Hal Peterson Middle School. We moved to Kendall County 10 years ago and have 2 wonderful boys, ages 12 and 6, who keep us on our toes. I enjoy nature and camping and spending quality time with family.
